SHINSAFE® appliance door alerts help prevent leg skin tears and bruises,
and notify you of your child opening an appliance door. By attaching the
device to the front of the appliance door (downward-opening dishwasher,
oven or clothes dryer), the SHINSAFE® alert will warn you when the door
is down and in a hazardous position. A blinking red LED glows onto the floor
and an adjustable beep gently alerts you to an open door.
To install, just insert two AAA batteries, remove the adhesive cover on
the back, and attach the SHINSAFE® device to the most upper portion
of the door on the side you work from, according to the package instructions
(or reference instructions here). Because the SHINSAFE®
device activates only when the door is lowered, the battery life has a one-year
expectancy.
By sliding the switch on the bottom of the SHINSAFE® alert, you can
determine if you want to activate only the blinking red LED or both the
LED and the internal beep. You can make the intervals between beeps shorter
or longer by turning the internal control dial on the front of the device.
Once installed, the SHINSAFE® door alert does not require any maintenance
and will continually help prevent collisions with the appliance door.
The SHINSAFE® device is perfect for protecting people of all ages and alerting
you of children near appliances. To make your home a safer place and help
bring an end to painful bruises and scrapes, use the SHINSAFE® door
alert.
